The trolley type furnace is applicable to the heating of large ingots, billets and steel plates that are inconvenient to be heated in the chamber type furnace before forging, and the heat treatment heating of large castings, forgings and weldments. The trolley type furnace can use gas or liquid as fuel or electric heating. When gas or liquid fuel is used, burners are usually arranged on both sides of the furnace.
Features of trolley type furnace:
(1) The bottom of the trolley type furnace is a movable trolley, which loads materials outside the furnace before the workpiece is heated; When the workpiece is heated, the trolley is put into the furnace by the traction mechanism; After the workpiece is heated, the trolley is pulled out of the furnace by the traction mechanism for unloading. It is easy to operate and suitable for heating large workpieces and workpieces with complex shapes.
(2) The furnace temperature of the trolley type furnace can complete a complete heating cycle in the furnace according to the process requirements. The heating process can be adjusted within a wide range.
(3) The workpiece to be heated in the trolley furnace can be loaded within the effective range of the trolley, and is not limited by geometric shape, size, weight, etc.
(4) The temperature difference between the furnace temperature of the trolley type furnace and the temperature of the X pieces being heated is small.
(5) The trolley type furnace is a periodic heating furnace, which is usually used for intermittent operation, so the heat storage loss is large. The large movable furnace door of the movable trolley is not easy to seal, the heat loss is large when the trolley is out of the furnace, and the thermal efficiency of the trolley furnace is not high.
Development trend of bogie hearth furnace:
The trolley type furnace is a periodic heating furnace, which can improve the thermal efficiency of the furnace, save energy, improve the automatic control level of the furnace, the accuracy of furnace temperature control and the uniformity of furnace temperature, so as to meet the strict requirements of the heating process.
(1) Light refractory masonry can reduce the thickness of furnace masonry and heat storage loss. The trolley type furnace used for heat treatment process heating is built with refractory fiber, and the trolley type furnace used for forging heating is made of light refractory castable T, which has remarkable energy-saving effect.
(2) Various new heat exchangers are used to preheat combustion air with waste heat of flue gas. It can directly recover a part of the heat supply to the furnace, and can also strengthen combustion, improve the combustion temperature of low calorific value fuel, and save energy.
(3) Improve combustion system and automatic control level. High speed burner or sub high speed burner shall be used for the buried furnace in the trolley type hot place, and the pulsating combustion control mode shall be applied, so that the furnace temperature can be uniformly controlled within the range. Using computer control can improve the process control level and production management level of the furnace, and improve the overall equipment level of the trolley furnace.
