How To Choose The Annealing Furnace Correctly?

Nov 28, 2022

The annealing furnace is a national standard energy-saving periodic operation furnace, which is a medium-sized industrial furnace and is elongated. Widely used in chemical plants, crude oil, food, metallurgical industry, machinery and equipment, light industry, power engineering, ships, paper industry, mining, pharmaceuticals, central heating and other industries in the heating, cooling, cooling, volatilization and other technical operation processes middle.

The role of the annealing furnace:

The annealing furnace uses a continuously running mesh belt to transport the workpiece through a temperature-controlled heating zone, so as to achieve the purpose of tempering the workpiece. A method of heat-treating a metal material by slowly heating it up to a certain temperature, keeping it for a good period of time, and then cooling it at a suitable rate (usually slow cooling, sometimes controlled cooling).

The purpose of annealing is to soften raw materials or product workpieces produced by casting, forging, electric welding or drilling, improve plasticity and ductility, keep warm for a certain period of time, and then slowly cool (cooling with the furnace) to homogenize the composition. Remove residual stress, or obtain desired mechanical properties.

The working principle of the annealing furnace:

According to the circulation system of the fan, the temperature in the furnace cavity of the annealing furnace is evenly distributed. The two furnace chambers of the annealing furnace can be operated independently, which improves the high efficiency of annealing. There are two fans in each furnace chamber, but there is no Gas filtration system. According to the fan circulation system, the temperature in the furnace is evenly distributed, and the macroscopic structure of plastic film raw materials is recombined according to the heat treatment process to improve reliability and high conversion efficiency. The castings are heated to around 950°C, and cooled appropriately after a certain period of heat insulation to remove the thermal stress of the steel castings and weldments. The temperature at which martensite is gradually generated after heating the steel product is below 100 to 200 °C, and the thermal stress can be removed by cooling in the air after thermal insulation.

The main furnace types of common annealing furnaces in the market include trolley-type annealing furnaces, well-type annealing furnaces, box-type annealing furnaces, bell-type annealing furnaces, etc. There are high temperature furnaces, medium temperature furnaces, and low temperature annealing furnaces. Within 1200°C, the medium temperature furnace is within 950°C, and the low temperature tempering furnace is within 650°C. Customers need to select them according to their own product characteristics. The furnace size and load are ordered according to customer requirements.
